FAQ'S


WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME ON THE DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT?

You will need to bring the following:

- Passport number

- Flight details

- Flight number

- NHS number (if known)

 

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE SYMPTOMS?

This test is NOT suitable for anyone with cold or COVID-19 symptoms. Please either call us or login to cancel your test.

If you have COVID-19 symptoms get an NHS coronavirus (COVID-19) test from www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test and self-isolate until you get the results.

CAN I REARRANGE MY TEST APPOINTMENT ONCE BOOKED?

Yes - subject appointment availability.

 

To do so create a member profile (press on the green circle with the man in the right corner), once you sign up you will be able to view your previous booking and will be able to reschedule subject to availability.

Alternatively, give us call on 01372 464007 to request a re-schedule. 

HOW DOES MY SAMPLE GET COURIERED TO THE LAB?

If you opt for an onsite appointment we will obtain your sample and courier it to the laboratory on your behalf.

 

However, if you opt for Collection or Home Delivery (whereby you do the sampling yourself) then please note that it is your own responsibility to courier your sample to lab using the instructions provided by the test manufacturer.​

WHAT ARE LATEST GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR ARRIVAL INTO ENGLAND?

 

For guidance on the latest government rules for travelling or returning into England they can be found here.

COVID-19  testing is currently required for those travelling or returning to England and must be arranged before arrival into England.

DO THE RULES FOR FULLY VACCINATED ADULTS ARRIVING INTO ENGLAND APPLY TO ME (I.E. DO I ONLY NEED TO BOOK A DAY 2 TEST)?

The rules for fully vaccinated adults apply if:

i.  you been fully vaccinated 14 days or more before arrival to England bearing in mind that the day of your final dose does not count as one of the 14 days;

 

ii. you have had 2 doses (or a combination) of the Moderna, AstraZeneca or Pfizer vaccine, or 1 dose of the Janssen vaccine; and

 

iii. you received your vaccinations through the NHS or in any countries with an Approved Vaccination Programme ( such countries are listed in the link here under the heading ‘Countries with an approved vaccination programme and examples of proof required’)

I AM A FULLY VACCINATED ADULT - DO I ONLY NEED TO BOOK FOR DAY 2 TESTING?

As a fully vaccinated adult arriving into England you only need to book for Day 2 COVID testing so long as you have been fully vaccinated in the UK or a country with an approved vaccination programme, 14 days or more prior to arrival into England (please note that: a. the day of your final dose does not count as one of the 14 days and b. countries with an Approved Vaccination Programme are listed in the link here under the heading ‘Countries with an approved vaccination programme and examples of proof required’).

By law, as testing providers, we require proof of your vaccination status prior to booking you in for Day 2 testing, and the proof of vaccination must meet the following minimum criteria:

​i.  it must be published from a national or recognised state-level public health body, and

ii. it must include, as a minimum, your: full name, date of birth, brand of vaccine, date of each          dose, country/territory of vaccination and/or certificate issuer.

*if you are a US resident intending to use a CDC card as proof of vaccination status, please note that we also require proof of your US residency (e.g. US Passport, visa, or Green Card).

WHERE CAN I PARK ON THE DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT?

There is free parking around Esher High Street and behind The Bear Hotel, situated opposite the pharmacy, where you can park for up to 2 hours.

REFUNDS / CANCELLATIONS

On site appointment bookings: we offer full refunds for cancellation requests made within 24 hours of booking confirmation. We are only able to offer 50% refunds for cancellation requests made thereafter - this is due to loss of income for that time slot.

Delivery orders: delivery orders are non-refundable once the order has been processed.

Collection orders: full refunds upon cancellation.

DELIVERY

Please note we only provide a delivery option for  Day 2, Day 2 & 8 or Test to Release orders .

Delivery is Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Orders placed after 4pm Friday or over the weekend will not be dispatched until Monday (excluding Public Holidays).

 

Delivery is within 2-3 working days.

We can provide tracking number upon request should you wish to track your order .

Please ensure someone is available to receive your order at your chosen delivery address. Otherwise, please call us to arrange a collection service from Central Pharmacy.
